She texted me and told me to just use her name, no title.

jenn724 - What is her rate and rating?

Yikes on her uniforms!

Comment by diannep on May 28, 2012 at 4:23pm

jenn, thinking HM?  FTLW?  Do you know for sure?  I know that when my son graduated bootcamp, he told me to address his letters at A School as SN=Seaman,  He was an E-3.  I believe E-2 for his "rate" was SA.

I would ask on the San Antonio group.  Those ladies will know for sure!

It looks like it got caught in the conveyor.  The bag was shredded, as well as her dress blues, her NSU, and everything else.  Torn, and grease all over everything.. She is lucky enough to have a great friend that is letting her wear her spare set until she can get new stuff.  She sent me her new address, but I'm not sure how I should address it now.  Not SR anymore.. :)

jenn:  So very sorry about her garment bag with the uniforms.  What happened to it to ruin the uniforms?

Comment by diannep on May 28, 2012 at 11:06am

Ladies:  We N4Moms veterans like to make sure our advice is still up to date.  So please post on here if we gave incorrect info for PIR, etc.  We want to make sure to guide the right way!

Plus...ALL of you are not N4Moms veterans...so please feel free to jump on the PIR groups whenever you like to help out the newbies!  We welcome all help!

Congratulations to all of our new Sailors, and their families.  PIR was an awesome experience.  I slept a total of 6 hours in 3 days, so the emotions combined with the sleep deprivation was tough, but worth it.  My daughter made it safely to San Antonio, but her garment bag did not.  All of her uniforms inside were completely ruined.  I should find a San Antonio A school group to join I suppose.  xo

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!  Remembering all of our servicemen/women....past and present...active duty, veterans, injured/disabled, those who gave their lives for their country.  We will never forget!

FTLW looks like you have had a hectic time of it.

I do have to say LOL as I first read it as you have had some PMS not PM's to get to.
