SUNY:  The calls are so random, day-wise and time-wise, that it is highly unlikely your call will come at the same time as these did today.  Just keep that cell glued to you at all times!  Even in the bathroom and when stepping out to get the mail!

Congrats on the calls today!

Thanks, Lisa.  I'll make a note of it!

I gave my Mom the head's up that if she gets a call from the 847 area code she must drop everything she's doing and answer it even at work :)

Hi SUNY, I got my call just after 2 pm, MST. I hope you get your call soon!

Ladies, how exciting for you!  I am so happy to hear that your SRs called.  What time were the calls?  Just wanted to know so I will keep my cp beside me at all times esp. around the time you got your calls.  Hopefully, fingers crossed, God-willing, Ship 2 Div 928 will also get their calls to home this week!  God bless our SRs!

Anyone staying at the Days Inn Great Lakes for PIR? I think I'm going to book us there since it's cheaper and money's a bit tight.

YAY for phone calls :-) Didn't I say a couple days ago that I thought you might get calls this week? HooYah!!!!

Two years ago today my daughter went to MEPS, picked her rate and signed up to join the NAVY. I cannot believe it has really been two years. It is amazing how fast the time passes once bootcamp is over. I can't even begin to tell you how many people I have become friends with and many of them I have been able to meet and have even had some come to my house and stay with me while traveling across the country to see their Sailors. I have made some lifelong friends who share a common bond and I appreciate them all. It is all because of this wonderful site. I wouldn't be where or who I am today if it were not for Navy for Moms :-) I am truly blessed to have found this site <3

I talked to him today!! I also received a letter first, which made me sad because he sounded down (had his wisdom teeth out and the swelling was quite something...). But on the phone he sounded GOOD!! :-) I am so thankful

I got my call today! We talked for a really long time, this was suprising to me. She told me that her division started out with about 90 recruits and has dropped to 65. She also said they have very little time to write, but would like to receive more cards and letters. She sounded really happy, this made my day!
