Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

But I need help. If there is anyone out there who has a Sailor who is a corpsman heading to San Antonio, TX tomorrow from OHare airport around 6pm. I need to know what airline of that flight. They say they are leaving at 3:30am for the airport and we could meet him there, but we have no idea where to go at the Ohare airport because it's so huge and we want to go meet him for breakfast and say our goodbyes. Anyone out there that can help?

Comment by diannep on July 6, 2012 at 2:11pm: You will need gate passes if you want to wait at the gate with your sailor until flight departs. Also, the USO is past security at Midway...so you will need to get a gate pass there. At OHare, the USO is before security so no issue to go there without a gate pass (but still need it if heading to gate). Some like to say goodbye to their sailors there, rather than at the gate. So it is up to you! You get them at his/her airlines counter, with proper ID. Have your sailor with you.

Comment by angelsince71 on July 5, 2012 at 7:18pm: Well Im in the area and checked into the hotel. My family and I are at the Sleep Inn. I highly DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. All I can say is its a hot mess. Looking forward to the graduation and hopefully getting to me some of you.

Comment by diannep on July 5, 2012 at 7:17pm: Remember, ladies....be there EARLY in the morning...for sure by 7:30 if you want any choice in seating. The Hall fills up early. Allow for car lines, lines at security. We had 9 divisions when my son was there....we were at RTC by 6:40, and in the hall by 7....there were already alot of people there.
