Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

Comment by IndyMom on July 12, 2012 at 12:09am: Lisa when my son first called today I couldn't hear him hardly at all and then within a few seconds we were disconnected. He didn't call bck again for nearly a hour.

Comment by FireTeamLeaderWife aka FTLW on July 11, 2012 at 11:54pm: If you are traveling to PIR and have not r'cd your call yet, change your voice message for your new Sailor. Tell them you are traveling and to leave a loooooong detalied message so you can hear it as soon as you can.
When my son called me to tell me that his liberty had changed (for the better!) I was flying over and he left me a good detailed message!

Comment by IndyMom on July 11, 2012 at 11:41pm: Fancy Nancy: My son said that all the groups that went through last night passed- his divsion 218 was the only group that got a perfect score last night. If 816 rocked it like they said, I am sure they got a perfect score of 5 as well.
