Yikes!!! I never thought I could be happy, sad, excited and nervous all at the same time. This BattleStation test is freaking me out. So will they pass or fail as a team or individually? I read the forum but still trying to understand. Thanks

brandie:  Got it!  Yes, you have to friend request to message.  I responded!

Be sure to read the BattleStations discussion above in the Forum for more info!

Yes, they should know their dates by now, or at least by this week.  Yep, they are almost done!  This is a large PIR group with 13 divisions...so they will get some of those BattleStations done the week before PIR.  Remember, they go in consecutive order (with brother divisions), except for the 900 division.  The 900 division usually goes the same night of the week, although sometimes a night before.

Here are the brother divisions in this group

249+250, 251+252, 253+254, 255+256, 257+258, 259+260

Soooo....please send me those dates if you get some.  Thanks!

diannep - my stomach did a flip flop when I read your comment.  It really is next week isn't it?  Will our SR's know their date already?  Sorry, I'm freaking out a little bit.

Comment by diannep on July 30, 2012 at 2:42pm

Ladies, this group will begin BattleStations next week.  Are there any questions about that?  About PIR?  Please post here and we will for sure try to answer for you.

I'm still collecting dates if you get a BattleStations date from your SR.  Just friend request/private message it to me please (can't post it on N4Moms or FB)....I'm keeping a schedule for you all.  Thanks!  I have received a few already.

Good Morning everyone, Today is my baby boy's 19th birthday. It is also our Family Reunion today as well. Just what every 19 yr old wants for his birthday right? lol. My oldest son is home for the weekend as well. Just wish our Sailor could be here too. We will be spending the day with lots of family in the Pisgah National Forest so I will be away most of the day. I will be back later this evening. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. Go out and do something fun :-) YOu can always crash our party lol.

There is no particular dress code for PIR mandated by RDC.  However, these are the things to remember when you deciding what to wear:

1.  Your sailors will be in their finest!  And remember --you will be in pictures!

2.  There is a good deal of walking that day and you will be sitting in bleachers, so keep that in mind.  If you want to wear heels, might want to carry them with you and put them on in the PIR Hall, wearing more comfortable shoes to walk in.

3.  We have heard some ladies say the hall is COLD with the a/c on in the summer, others report it is a bit hot.  But...several suggested that you may want to take a light jacket/sweater just in case it is a little cold.  My family was there during the winter and it was quite comfortable.

4.  We usually suggest "business casual" which would include nice jeans, etc.  But you really will see a bit of everything there, so it is up to you!

Good Morning, all!  Do you know that this group is just about 11-12 days from starting BattleStations?  That is their final test and then they are sailors!!  With 13 divisions in this group, they will be doing them that week and also PIR week (none ever on Fri/Sat nights).  You all are getting into the exciting time now...final tests now need to be passed in order to do BattleStations, and then that wonderful I'm a Sailor call.  If you get BattleStations dates from your SR, please friend request/private message them to me.  I will be keeping a schedule ... we can't post on the pages here but can private message them.
