Got a letter today!  Makes my heart glad.  I was sad though because she said she went two days without getting anything and that made her very sad.  I have sent a letter every single day though, so I guess something just got held up.  Keep writing to our SR's, they all say that mail call is the thing they look forward to most at the end of a long day.  They are all sick and tired and waiting for this all to be over too... let's just keep encouraging them to be their best and finish strong.  3 more weeks of training... they can do this!

OcoeeMom, still waiting on my call too! Bf is in the same division as your son! Waiting on another letter too. And yes, they started week 4 today, "Hell's Week." Hopefully it's not as bad as it sounds!

Good morning everyone :)  Got my letters out and looking forward to stalking the postmaster tomorrow...brings a smile to my face just to see her have that look of "oh no, it's Thursday and the crazy lady is out" LOL Thought I would post out here for a bit as my PIR group might just all be on vacation and missing mother to mother "been there done that" conversation :)   Hope all of you have an upbeat, amazing, and wonderful day and here's to any of us that might get to have mail or a call from our SR's

Good Morning!

We made it to Orlando, we are going to enjoy Sea World today, Disney thru Sunday.  Trying very hard NOT to miss my SR ... but it's not working.  I wrote letters for each day I'd be gone and have our housesitter mailing them for me... It's just NOT the same as writing to him every day :-( .  The hardest part is nt getting to read his letter as soon as it comes out of the mailbox.  I had no idea it would be this hard when we made plans to do this vacation. Must forge on and have a good time for our 10 year old... but rest assured the home phone is forwarded just in case!!!!

Thanks Lala, I do.  I usually do ask on N4M's not facebook.  You all have been a godsend over the past year now.  Thanks so much.  I had no idea at all about what my son was facing when we agreed to go with him at 17 to enlist last July.  Thanks for the recruiter for directing me to you guys.  He probably realized how much easier it would make it for him.   :)

jbmom, feel free to ask any questions you have here as well and we will do our best to answer it for you.

Still here daily, mainly just reading though.  I dont' have alot of spare time so i usually go through posts as quickly as possible looking for information on my son's division and looking for others I have messaged with before, until the weekend.  I'm on FB as well, mainly just reading there also.  AmOm I do see alot of your posts and when you have a question, I am usually thinking "I hope one of the lady's who know what they are talking about answer her".  I try keep my mouth shut because I usually am NOT one of those ladies.  :)
