Dianne, that is so so sad. When you have a child sign up to serve our county the biggest fear is that they will be killed in some foreign land; not in an American Movie Theater. Such a waste of precious life. Please continue to hold them in your thoughts and prayers.

Happy birthday to your hubby FTLW (insert really awesome smiley blowing out lots of candles here) lol

I'm using my droid. It worked before but now it doesn't..

Oh no, oh no,...and I know that Craig will know him...he worked  at the same place that all the military personnel do. :-(

So senseless...my heart is heavy today.

But we are celebrating hubby's B-Day today (I haven't mentioned anything to him - though he may know already and is not saying anything to me!)...so I will "lift myself up"!

AmOm - Do you get a circle with an "i" in it ...it could be your internet browser...or your computer
rejecting" it. Mine does on occassion when IE doesn't "like" stuff. SOmetimes the actual site that I get stuff from is the issue.

Try a different browser.

It's wierd because I am an IE user but have had to go to firefox and like it but there is a few things that I don't!

Confirmed that one of our sailors was killed in the Colorado shooting.  27 yrs old from Illinois...stationed nearby.  Another was injured but released from hospital.  Heartbreaking situation for all....

Good Morning all!  Have a great weekend!

I haven't been able to see the weather widget for about a week. I don't know why.

If you are on tonight...look at the Weather Widget right away or refresh the page and look...there are fireworks!

Congrats AmOm! I know your so proud!  I did put in a letter what happened today to try to keep her caught up what's going on in the outside world. Though she is not the type to dwell on it, so I knew it was ok to tell her.  Dont get me wrong, she will be sad of course, but I know her and she will appreciate the fact that her family is safe.  So, my opinion is go with your gut on telling your loved one, you know them better then anyone.  There was an incident that a boy she went to school with died in an accident a few weeks ago and I have not told her because I didn't want that to impact anything. I will tell her later :(  Congrats to all that has gotten letters and calls

I just don't even know what to say really...it is just so sad...beyond sad. Those poor people...all I can do is pray.

I agree with diannep about RTC not allowing news and especially negative news. They can loose their focus.
