FTLW, it looks like if you click on the Facebook share icon in the discusion that it will put it on your timeline and let you add a comment.  I cancelled it instead of posting because I didn't know if it posted the entire discussion or what.  What it was showing it would post was the opening of the discusion, my opening post,  but I just wasn't sure and I don't want all those pages on my facebook.  If I have a discussion I want to start later, I'll play with it or if I see an interesting discussion later with just a few replies, I'll try it.

Oh my...it's raining and lightning in GL. I knew the Weather widget was interactive...and I have seen it snow in winter...but never lighting.

I know the WW is large but this is the smallest size for it to be so that it is interactive. Play around with it. The very top bar has the current date and time and then just below it the next four days...click the arrow and it will show more. Click the "LIVE" tab anytime to go back to current time.

The rest of the bar is for the marker (green) to move along throughout the day. You can click anywhere on it to change the time. So, if you don't see this until morning go back a day to about 12:30 AM and watch for awhile!

Hey...in the bottom left corner the number and the Olympic rings is a countdown for the London Olympics!

Wow...you can see the streaks and the whole screen lights up...

Sleep tight...to the Sailors and recruits at RTC...G'nite!

Say, on the Discussions...there are icons to "share", twitter and Facebook.

Has anybody ever used them?

I don't FB or Twitter...somebody want to be a detective for me? LOL

I have a mom that has an iPhone and has responded to me privately. She does what I do...stays signed in to N4M's. Then when she gets an email she clicks on the link that takes you to the site...

Mine says:

To view the new reply, visit: (and then the link)...I click it and then I wait for it to load It takes me there and I am able to reply.

She has stayed signed in to N4M's for a few weeks on her iPhone.

I will still ask about an app...but hope that helps folks with their SmartPhones.  I do try to sign out at bedtime.

iPhone users and actually Android too...just had moms talk about this on BC moms...and would love to look for a solution.

The problem that most are having is that you get an email notification and can't reply through email like you can to FB. You have to log onto the site and then do it. More steps involved.

Is that what you are experiencing?

I have an Android and it is the same but I have never used my emails that way. (Plus, when I first joined I did not have a smart phone at all) Since I "work" on here I need access to the whole site pretty much all day and then I can just hop on. I stay logged in and try to log out at least at night. I use my emails to follow Discussions I have created so I can reply...but I don't follow all of the groups I am on...I would have THOUSANDS of emails!(That's a personal preference...you can change your email notification settings)

But for you who have maybe your PIR group that you are following and your Division Discussion (you may have other groups but have used the Stop Following feature)...this is probably laborious...and so FB is much easier. Totally get that!

Let me know if this is an issue and any other issue and I can compile a list and report it if you haven't already.

I asked this on BC Moms as well:

Would an app for N4M's help the situation?

If so, I can suggest it and see what happens!
