My Sailor's Anchor - Thanks for sharing, I love the shot in the butt. What a sense of humor you SR has.
So excited, just got my 2nd call about 20 minutes ago and another letter today. My daughter said they were going to get to call for an hour today but apparently some mess ups cost them 55 minutes so all we got to talk was 5 minutes but I'll take it. She had to get off the phone when I heard the RDC come into the room yelling, she was like I gotta go. Sooooo glad to hear to from her, I hope everyone gets phone calls
Not all divisions have men and women. There are all-male and integrated (male/female) divisions. They train together in the integrated but have separate barracks (thank goodness!).
Well no letter today but saw a few on FB received some which brings me to a question for the experts? I know that a division is formed by boys and girls. What do they exactly do together and then when they're not.
seamonkey: The furthest airport is Midway. Ohare is the closest but with traffic, may take longer to get to RTC than from Milwaukee to RTC. Milwaukee (many times) is cheaper. to fly into...and no traffic. Straight shot to RTC.
But remember...sailors don't usually fly out of there...they usually fly out of Chicago airports. So if you will be waiting at the airport with your sailor before leaving for A School, consider that when booking your return flight. We always advise people to stay at least until Sunday anyway...just in case out-of-town A School students don't leave until then. Plans can change and do with the Navy!
If your sailor will be staying in GL for A School, but sure to book out either late Sunday night or even Monday. They should have daytime liberty over the weekend with you.
Forgot where I found the distances from the different Airports to RTC? Help again please. Thank you.
Good morning. Southwest starting prices are $69. Leaving San Jose/ San Fransisco CA is $209./$207. Yikes! Decisions decisions.
