Good Morning ladies!

Love that, Jill!  Such a great biblical reminder!  On one of the previous PIR groups, there was a mom who posted a bible verse each morning for the group.  It was so inspiring...just "set the tone" on the site for the day.

Your positive outlook will make your receipt of letters/calls from your daughter that much sweeter!  :-)

I love the "words" you are feeling from your daughter that everything is fine.  NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS in the Navy....meaning...she is progressing and on track!  But of course, you need to hear from HER and be comforted by her words!  Just know that this early in bootcamp, there can be alot of frustration and negative feelings because it is so difficult right now for them.  That "changes" by training week #4 (usually about bootcamp week #5) when they hit "Hell Week" (not as bad as the name sounds!).  It is a turnaround time for them...they have accomplished alot by then and now have much more confidence, and yelling by the RDCs is not so much -- they are doing well.  The "breakdown" process is over and the "buildup" process is well in progress.  It is so important that the RDCs take all of these SRs from so many different paths in life, etc and get them "on the same page."  Not an easy task...but they do it beautifully!  You will personally observe this at PIR!  I remember wondering how in the world my son could stand still for so long at PIR...figured I could spot him as the one fidgeting...NOPE!  Never spotted him during the entire ceremony  :-(.  Couldn't see any movement "in the ranks!"  Wow....amazing!

Oh, no worries...the Bible says "rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep." I will rejoice with you :-)

Deez:  You can friend request rosewomn and communicate by email there.  You can insert a personal message in your friend request...saying you want to talk about the tickets.

And the funny thing is... I didn't even pray for patience lately... I guess God just decided I needed some :-)   And I can just hear my daughter saying "Mom, don't worry, everything is fine"... I always tell her it's a mom's job to worry :-)

Well, still nothing from my daughter... I really thought that the form letter would at least come today, it's very disappointing.  I keep telling myself that everything is great and there are no problems, otherwise I would have gotten a call.  It's just very disheartening to go to the mailbox every day and not get that form letter.  It's probably lost in the mail, but when others are getting personal letters and phone calls I wonder why I can't even get my form letter... Just had to vent... thanks :-)
