Morning Ladies. I certainly miss the daily chatter here, but I have to say, when you miss a day, it's a lot more manageable to get caught up now. =) Quality over quantity. Lol....

Lyn - That's fantastic! My daughter told me they are doing well with room inspections and that she and her roommate are well matched for neatness. I had to ask her "REALLY?". She just laughed and told me the Navy taught her a lot. Before boot camp "Hurricane Haley" would of been an appropriate name her. Lol...

Glad everyone is getting to have communication with their Sailor. What a difference, huh!?

Better get moving if I want to have a productive day.

Hugs to all of you. =)))))

Patty - I have one. Send your email to my inbox and I'll send you over a copy.

Lyn - that is great news. Our kids are certainly growing up Navy style, aren't they? Can't wait to see it close up for myself at Christmas.

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm so glad that even though we've slowed down over here since PIR, some of us are still checking in to say hi every now and then!

Hi Ladies. I am wondering if anyone out there as the picture reorder form that came with their package of photos we received on PIR weekend. My ex-husband seems to have lost the one that came in our package, and I now have no way to order the pictures I would like to have. If you have yours, I am gracefully and desparately asking if you would scan & email it to me; if nobody has one, do you know how or where I could get another one so I can order pictures? Thank you all so much!

Just have to share this. My kid is back in GL after leave to visit his grandparents in FL. My mom says he left the guest room with the bed made, the used towels in the laundry room and everything ship shape and Bristol fashion. She votes for universal military training and said he is a real pleasure to have around as a man, just like he was as a little boy. AND - he even remembered a thank you note the very next morning. Yay Navy!

Sondra, no matter how old or independent they get, they still need their Mom's. I'm sure it feels great to them to have the freedom of making choices and doing their own thing, but a time always comes around that they need advice, etc and they're making that "Mom, I need....." call.
Mrs B, glad your doing ok. Sounds like the hubby is doing a super job!

Hey, Ladies!! It's been pretty insane here at the office this week so I just haven't had the chance to get on line. BUT, I wanted to thaink you, AJ & hurley8ldy for your well wishes. I can't even begin to tell you how proud of C I am!!

There are some wise wise women on this site ... C's always been kind of a loner so I can't help but worry about him, but I agree. They probably need the quiet "me" time right now, BUT how can they NOT forge unbelievable friendships?! All good things take time as they say ...

Hugs and prayers, Mrs. B ... Thanks for the update. You've REALLY been on my mind ...

Hi Ladies, I heard on FB that some of you were asking about me over here...sorry I have not checked in. I have been pretty ill...and am still sick as of right now, but I believe I am on the way up. I discovered this morning tho, that I believe I have pink eye. :( So...my sickness seems to be taking rounds on me..and I am just not beating it the way I should. Seems I have the "boot camp crud" as my hubby calls it. :( But I did go to the doctor yesterday and she told me to take Benedryl and sleep a lot, so I did that yesterday and last night...ultimately sleeping pretty well.

I have been having contractions off and on....and I'm having them right now...so I am trying to just relax and not do anything at all...and have found a new hobby...warm baths. I used to take really hot baths, but of course, that isn't good for baby, so now I have to content myself with warm baths. LOL

Thank you everyone for all your prayers and thoughts! I SO need all of them...my hubby appreciates them too. He is now on Phase 2 in A-school and is working on getting his "live-a-shore" (which means living with me) phase. He is SO good at school that he did 2 days worth of school in one day and he wishes he could just hurry up and finish his schooling, but he sorta has to stay with the class. LOL. He's always been good at school and has always gotten A's and B's..and the B's were very rare! :) Hopefully the classes will become a little more challenging so he doesn't get bored. (in his words, "class is sooooo booorrrrinnngggg." LOL...and when he says that, he means it.)

Anyways, thank you again Ladies!!! Blessings~

Hey all, still love this group!

Matt's doing well. He doesn't really have friends but it's early still. They will all eventually make friends but right now just being out of BC (2 weeks today!) I think just time alone feels good.

Mrs B has been pretty ill. SHE WENT TO THE dr's and all is ok with the baby. She is hanging in there. She asks for prayers so please think of her in your prayers.

So nice being able to talk on the phone to my son now. He woke me this morning with a cll and I didn't mind a bit! So happy we are a close family.
