What cuties your little ones were / are Iris! It is fun to look at their little faces now that I've seen them all grown up. Memories .... priceless.
So how fast can you open a coconut, get all the coconut milk / water out, and harvest all the meat? You might want to put me on your list of who you would want to be stranded on a deserted island with, cause I've been practicing. AND, did you know that the coconut water from inside the fresh coconut can be used as a blood transfusion? Yes, really. If you want more, google it, or here is a site: http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/2925/can-coconut-juice-be-... ......... or, ................... http://message.snopes.com/showthread.php?t=22231
I actually learned that some time ago, as I find coconuts kind of fascinating.
AND Iris, coconut water helps to boost your metabolism and loose weight. See: http://www.knowledgebase-script.com/demo/article-320.html
And that's not all ladies ....... science class continues! You probably read in the news about the 4 planets clustering in the early morning sky this week. May 9 and 10. May 9 was too cloudy here to see anything. But May 10, I saw all four and it was incredible. This morning,I saw three of the four and it was even more fascinating. They hung in the sky well into the sunrise and long after the stars melted into the morning sky. Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury. Did you guys happen to catch it? Southern states were best, which made Costa Rica just awesome. Three nights in a row for magic in the night sky. I was thinking of you d o ...... your love of riding on your Harley under a sky full of stars, naked .............. oh, no, I think I might be mixing my stories. Ha! Anyway, you would have loved it!

Okay, back to my balsa fluff. I should be on a remake of Gilligan's Island, truly.
Lots of love, AJ
Hi Ladies, well, I was unable to go to the funeral of Officer Sullivan, but from what I hear, the funeral was short, tender and patriotic. He just died in his sleep. His wife said he went out to the living room saying he had a headache. When she came out in the morning, he was "sleeping' in his lounge chair. It was really sad, but what made it even more sad is that this is this lady's 2nd husband (both Navy) to pass away. Her daughter also passed away when she was 12 years old. So please keep this sweet family in your prayers. Like I said, this death was quite unexpected.
Life is good here. I've been busy unpacking the house and setting things up. TJ is starting to cut teeth so he is a bit fussy, but still my cute little man! Life is really good and I am still getting together with a lot of my military friends. I get a lump in my throat every time I see someone in NWU's (our apartment complex has a LOT of military people; AF, Navy and Marines!) I appreciate every single one of them and am so proud of all of our 9/10/10 Sailors!
My parents are moving soon, from their Texas home. They're going to Arkansas to try to find a place to live. They need a smaller home and easier place to keep up. Dad is getting really sick and Mom needs to be able to take care of him easier. It's hard watching Dad get so much older and sicker. He's been diagnosed with Hep. C (long time ago) and he just is not getting better.
Anyways, no matter what, life is good! Hope you all get to hear from your Sailors and have a great week/weekend. :)
Hurley! that is so cool to see. You must have been so excited to find him on FB. What is the shout out for Coast Guard .... like our Hoo Yah? Looks like he's whipping that run! Hoo ???!
ok, he is the bald one if you're wondering which one is him. Hehe. He's the blonde bald one in the middle!
I will write on here in a few but i am at my desk top and i cant sit here much longer so I need to get back to my chair and IPad. Just thought it was a cool pic!
Good News Ladies - My doctor rocks. Although he did say I'm a bit obsessive over my weight. Lol... ME? Ha ha ha ha.... Anyhow, he gave me an appetite supressant to help jump start the old metabolism but I have to journal all that I'm eating, nothing but water or green tea after 6 pm, weight in in 6 weeks (goal 2.5 lbs a week), 64 oz of water a day, and only 4 months worth of drugs then I'm SOL. Yay yay yay... I'm gonna not embarrass myself in Hawaii or have to wear a moo moo.
Dyl's Mom - Oh honey, that is the part about the visit I'm not looking forward to. I love it when she's here and visiting but it tears my heart out having to say goodbye. My heart is weeping with you today. Hang in there, we feel your pain.
Great idea everyone else about our Sailors buying a house in Costa Rica for us. Lol..... that was the plan right? =)
Okay, gotta get, just wanted you all to know that I'm on drugs now. Mary - I'll still be your drug pimp when we are in Costa Rica. What are friends for? =)
RRRRRRSSSSSSSLLLLLLLL..... Oh did I mention these are stimulants. Ha ha ha ha....
Oh Shelly Dyl's Mom .... we're here for you .... you know we know what you are feeling .... it sucks not knowing when you will see them again. Sorry for the heartache .... and glad you found some solace in the prayer.
These guys just can't wait to get cars. Aaron will be doing the same thing just as soon as he gets back. I like Haley's approach, especially when they are near sea water for their ports .... sea salt / cars / weather / does nasty stuff to finishes. One good thing about deployments, girls ..... they save money! Aaron has money ... and it can't burn a whole in his pocket, because it is a lot harder to spend. Granted they can order stuff on line and have it shipped to the APO address, but still.
How cool would it be to all get together somewhere like Costa Rica. I'm with d o everyone .... get your passports!!! Run, don't walk!
Still working on the pillow here ... did I say that this takes times and tons of patience! :)
Later, gators.
