HELLLOOOOO Ladies!!!!

It's THURSDAY!!!!!!!!

The week is almost over, i'm ready for a weekend, I don't know about you!!

today is my first day training on-the-job at a little chinese restaraunt....i'm the only 100% english speaking employee...so i'm not sure how this will work. I've known the owner for a long time, great food, but she's about the only one who speaks good or even decent english. It's going to be difficult interperating what i'm being told and praying it's right!

Yesterday was G&I's 2 month, and he's taking me out for a dinner/movie date Saturday:)

I'm making him a tie blanket, navy print if I can find it tomorrow, since good friday=NO SCHOOL(:

His shipdate got moved back to June 6th. I cried from good news!

Uhmmmm....Progress report in school, all A's and B's.

& G is talking about promise rings when he's outta basic.

Good stuff!!!

How is everyone?!

Gotta run  - School!

Got to FB with my daughter tonight. Got to meet the ship yesterday. Asked her how it was and all she said was HUGE. Thought that was pretty funny. She did get to see one of her friends that graduated with her at A school. He is stationed there so she was glad to see him and someone she knows.

I got your message Nicole! I will try to respond soon...but congrats on everything! Sounds awesome. :)

Dyl's Mom- Thanks! prayer really does help and I am so excited to see what life is going to hold for us.

LynB-  how fun it must have been in those days of youth...getting to see all the nice, well-mannered sailors!  too cool!

MrsB - so glad everything is working out for you.  Prayer will get you everywhere!

Iris-  love the prom pics!  sure brings back memories.... man, i'm really feeling old!

Mary- how are the pups?  still tearing the world apart?  lol!

ProudNavyMom -  keep us posted on how things are going on the ship!  exciting times for her!

Nicole, so glad things are working out for you and your honey!

dyl's called and said he was mailing some boxes home because he has way too much stuff and doesn't want to take it with him.  what do you bet it's mostly dirty laundry!  grrrrr!   anyhow, he said his "boss" wanted to take him to lunch today for a farewell thing.  He said he felt a little uncomfortable about it since he had only been working in the office 2 weeks but i told him it was a nice gesture on his boss's part and always let an attorney pick up the tab when you can!  ha!  they told him he did a great job in the short amount of time that he was there so that was a nice little boost for him.  i know he's so nervous about heading to Norfolk.... i feel bad that i can't ease this transition time for him but i guess it's part of the growing up process.  darn kids just make you crazy with emotions, don't they?!

gotta run.... my dancing with the stars it getting ready to come on..... i know!  i'm pathetic!

Nicole- I think I'm lost...send me a message via FB so I know what is going on. LOL...if you can. I am trying to keep up with everyone on here, but have lost out on some of it with all that is going on my way.

Hope things are going well. When do you leave for boot? or is the date not settled yet? When you do leave, make sure you have a friend message all of us (ME, ME, ME) so I can write you while there. I'd love to "cheer" you up a bit while there. Hope you have a great week. :)

GOOD NEWS SHIP HAS JUST GOTTEN TO PORT, His ship date is back the June 6th:) No crying on my finals!!:)

They decided to drop the papers and not fill the slot, in which, he had to "act" sad to chief about it, because we're not supposed to be dating. haha. Forbidden fruit tastes the sweetest.:)

Mrs B, Congratulations on your new place. Sounds wonderful.

Iris- Great pics of prom. Congratulations on getting your port removed. I know how happy that makes everyone that has to endure them.

My daughter gets to meet her ship today as they finally get to see land. They all need a much deserved break. Can't wait for first phone call to see how the trip went. Saw her on the computer last night. Asked her if she was really on and she said yes but not on skype (where it popped up). Didn't get to talk to her though. I know I will hear from her shortly.

Part three - still rambling

Yesterday I met with my sister Rose at a Mall and we dinked and chatted. Cody came along and so did my nephew Josh and his girlfriend Jamie. Immediately they went there own way, so Rose and I had time to talk. Very therapeutic. She's my person and I'm her's. Our husbands know this and whenever we get in a "mood" they suggest we spend some time together. Lol.... it works, so I guess that isn't a bad thing. Well, not much else is happening. I will skype with H. tonight so I might have more tomorrow. Although with me having surgery and getting my nails back on (can't wait) I might not have time to post till Wednesday. Anyhow, Haley did mention that she finally had a talk with VooDoo Daddy and things are fine. No more issues. Yay! That makes me feel better. Okay... I better get a move on. Happy Monday to you all. Hugs!!! RSL!!!!

Part two - My ramblings!

Okay, so Haley went to a party night before last. I didn't get a lot of details, but my usually conservative daughter is starting to cut loose a little bit. Sounds like she is being smart about it, which is a relief. She actually got drunk. First time for her. She's sampled some alcohol when she was home, but never felt like she wanted to anything more than sample. That has come to an end. Sigh! And get this. She got her hair colored a dark auburn and got nails put on. What is going on? She hates to do her hair or have anyone fuss with it and she's never been much for being a "girly girl" as she calls it. Ahhh... the only bummer part to all this is that I am a girly girl and only wish she'd done it earlier so we could of done some of those things together. Sigh!  Kids. Anyhow, today I have some more blood work, then tomorrow is DEPORTATION. No more port. Yahoo.....  Today I also need to go to the gym and sign up. I have been doing a trial free week and I'm enjoying it, so I'm going to continue it. Prom was Saturday and Cody and Katie had a great time. Here are a couple of pics. I'm very biased. I think my son looks very "Bond" like. Lol....

Okay... one more part.
