M said the gas chamber wasn't bad and wouldn't want to do it again but not it was not as bad as pepper spray which he has to do and not looking forward too.

Maybe they heard about all the moms trash talking and decided to throw us all off and keep it a secret.

My hubby told me they have a free day tomorrow, and to expect a phone call from him... so I wonder why someone thinks that Captains Cup is tomorrow? Normally that is done on a Saturday.

Thanks diannep! It's been a long journey and I am thinking that my 3 hrs. of dozing this morning is catching up to me. My friend was transferred from hospital in her hometown to Mayo Clinic and she is sitting up tonight. They have run a few tests and are trying to see what is going on with her pancreas. They gave her a diet mt. dew to drink! Praise the Lord!

Ok, so we know that Captains Cup is either tomorrow or Sat.... HA! I just can't imagine it is tomorrow because I understand that for holiday weekends such as this, there are Navy performances on Friday. That is the reason for PIR being on Thurs before a holiday weekend. So we shall see!

I don't know Cyndi...maybe they do have Captain's Cup tomorrow, but then why would our 302 guys think they have free day to play video games, facebook, and make calls?
Oh what does it matter, they are sailors now! Well, there is that trophy to think about! I told "Bird Dog" the divisions are doing the trash talk!

teaparty: My son was like yours...had a fever for a few days but would not go to Medical. He did get a "pack" that helped with the cold stuff. Thankfully he was well pretty quickly....I think they "ran" the sick right out of him! HA!
Funny how they appreciate something as simple as a Milky Way and Mt Dew after being denied for so long! Congrats on your new sailor!

michelle: My son's take on the gas chamber was:
if you are last to go and have to watch all others (like him), anxiety galore....then snot galore (sorry...gross, I know)...then 5 minutes later after it is over, all is well and they are laughing! But he didn't want to have to do that again!
