I've always wanted to learn how to salsa dance. I've taken several other dance classes, but not Salsa. It seems a little scandalous to Salsa with a man who's not my husband... which probably shows how ..naive.. I can be!
Good Morning Everyone! I am going to try to stop feeling sorry for myself! I am going to head out and sign up to do some more volunteer work! Something, anything, to make me feel "needed". I already do many volunteer activities for my church and son's school. But maybe it's time for more!
Good Morning Ladies, I pray all is well. Daubersmom try scrapbooking...I'm looking into a hobby myself. I would like to start a book for my son Naval experience...so google "scrapbooking class in your city"...and that will give you a good start. I'm quite sure we have some season scrapbookers on this site.
Angie, you are right.. I think I just need a hobby... any suggestions? Now keep in mind I am not very creative( cant even draw a straight line) so keep it easy for beginners...
So are y'all telling me I'm the only one enjoying this time??? I've been counting down the time my daughter have until graduation. She don't graduate until 2014. LOL...JK(Just Kidding)
Our babies are doing fine. Especially since they have started meeting new people and somewhat finding their way. No they can't come home, but remember you're able to visit them at any time.
Dauber's Mom, I'm looking forward to the day when my son marry and start his own family as well (Hopefully years from now).
It's going to be amazing when they PCS and we get to see how many of our kids are station together. We can even plan to visit them at the same time. (think vacation time)
Ladies there so much joy ahead of us...
MLDD as far as the leave is concern; I'm not 100% percent sure about Thanksgiving because most commands get that Friday off and usually they will have to put in a chit plus show proof of a round trip ticket to go home that (every command is different so it's at the command discretion). Christmas is a different story because a lot of the schools closes during holiday standown and they encourages them to take leave and go home. Now if they take leave during Christmas depending on where they're station they probably won't be able to come home after A-school. They only get 2.5 days of leave per month and the commands aren't going to let them go negative (except the first time they go home / and emergencies).
They will know around the beginning of November so keep asking.
Mom's I'm praying for everyone strength and know that God has them covered and protected!!!
I'm so glad you guys are here. Sorry I've been absent lately. Life happened.
