Good afternoon, Ladies!!! Finally getting around to changing my name- (adding where sailor is at)
Finally got his new address. Son said they finally starting with classes yesterday...and that he is happy!!!
Life is settling into a nice routine now that fall is here and PIR and bootcamp is over...it is nice to be able to hear alittle more from our sailors...
hoping to start a new quilt and to get some painting done in a couple of rooms before too long...
praying for all of our kids as they start their naval careers...kimbo
I really just want to check in and say a huge THANK YOU to MamaLamaDingDong (and others) for making Sarge's Meet & Greet a very special night. Now that I am back home and settled into life again, I see my children coloring the cute pages and still eating the candies from the red baggies, and it gives me such a feeling of gratefulness to have been part of such a wonderful gathering with such lovely families!
Good Morning everyone! Prayers that we all have a good week!
It is a lot of fun. I just started last year, and I loved it so much I decided to do it from now on.
(And my earlier post should say "become" not "because")
I'd love to be a baby cuddler like Always a Mom wrote about, but I have problems with my immune system so I get sick a lot. :( I'm afraid to get near healthy babies for fear of I may have something to pass on to them.. much less those in the NICU. During Christmas season though, I because Mrs. Claus and do things with kids who are a little older. I wish my husband would decide to be Santa, but he's a bit too fit and young-looking for the part. So, I go solo.
thats a good idea Mikes Mom, not sure if we have a Joannes store but will check the community college...
So, decided its time for a change.. went and got my hair colored for fall, cut off into a short bob, and I am going to buy a sewing machine.. now just need to find someone to show me how to use it... LOL think I would like to learn how to make quilts, and those cute purses I keep seeing...
Always a mom - My daughter is going to San Diego as well. She is assigned to a cruiser. Can't remember the name. What is S-pact?
Just got to skype with my son! We've only talked twice since he went to A-school, so it was a real treat for us.
