OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

The funny thing is that I should have it memorized because I have only read it like 20 times. My husband said time is flying by. He is the MA- he says it is the hardest job. He has to keep track of everyone and study, he says its hard. He passed his PFA. DIV 355 has 88 recruits. He says he is definitely learning a lot, very attentive to detail. He also said he can write every night at TAPS. He says they never sit down and have 10 minutes to eat (sucks)!! I thought that part was funny because my husband LOVES his food. He says he has some made some friends: Miller The candy stealer from Staten Island New York and Sterns a cowboy from Texas. He says he is starting to change as far as words and procedure. He says he finally welcomes the brainwashing lol. And thats about it besides all the gushy mushy stuff.

When you fill out forms with the recruiter it asks about your medical hx and some things you have to get a waiver for, like injuries, ADD, depression, diabetes etc
