I think the hardest thing for most SR is the PFA. I am going to pray for this SR too. I pray that he will have confidence and determination to carry across that gym. I pray for his family too. I know they are stressed out.

I'm confused - what is the backpack for?

thanks for clearing that up for me. I prayed for him last night as his Mom sent me an email, what a dilemma for the family, they aren't going and that breaks my heart to know he might or might not get to do PIR. Praying that all works out for him.

Praying here as well!!

I heard that there is someone in this PIR group who found out that their SR failed his PFA yesterday and can't run until tomorrow:  There's still time!  If he makes his run in the morning, he will go with PIR 7/22's BattleStations group tomorrow night....and be at PIR on Friday---in uniform, but in the balcony because of being up all night...too exhausted to march (although I heard from one mom that her daughter DID march after this because she was bound and determined she wasn't going to miss that!  :-) )

Anyway, prayers for this SR and his family.  Hoping that he has wings on his feet in the morning and gets it done.  I have no doubt he will then make it through BattleStations!

If he doesn't make it (and we aren't thinking that way!), he will be in FIT DIVISION and be given chances each week to try again.  Once he passes, he will do BattleStations with the next group and go straight to A School, no PIR.

So praying that he will be at his PIR!

Flying out this evening, so excited.  Look forward to meeting everyone at the Meet & Greet tomorrow.

rps65913, The Meet & Greet is held from 6 to 8pm at the Ramada Inn in Waukegan, IL.  It is the night before PIR. It is a chance for you to meet ladies from your PIR group on NFMs.

rps65913- if you can't rip it out...try a sharpie.
Do you mean that you do not have a debit card? If so, :'(... and your Saillor should! LOL you could always pay them back if you have an emergency.
My biggest "thing" , besides driving-which turned out to be THE most fun BTW, was packing. With security on the airlines now I was still all in a dither even after reading all that I could. I figured if I really needed something I'd by it at a WM or the NEX. I bought shampoo at the NEX, I didn't want liquids in my checked luggage...just me...I am not an experienced flier.
