ohevetbeni:  You may want to reverse your title and put PIR 7/15/11 first ahead of the TG & Div info.  Hopefully on Tuesday, they will have you all on the RTC grad schedule and you will know all of the divisions.  Could be Monday, but being a holiday, I doubt it.

Hello everyone, I am Lala, or Lora, either one is fine lol. I am here to help answer questions Like Diannep. We want to do as much for you as we can to help you get through "bootcamp" I know right now it seems like this will take forever but it will go must faster than you ever thought possible.

I have a daughter and a son-iin-law in the Navy. My daughter left for bootcamp one year ago yesterday. She is finished with all her schooling and is an AO. She loves the Navy and is very happy that she joined. She was in the performing DIv and had PIR July 23rd last year. We stayed at the Navy Lodge. I have already had messages from some members who have PIR the same day as you all do. They had already heard about me in other groups lol. If you have questions you can ask here, send me a friend request, or send me an email. My email address is: uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com

I hope you all have started with the letter writing, I hear it is like Christmas for them when they get a letter :-)

Welcome!!!!!

Beautiful pik for the group profile pik, ohevetbeni!
Comment by diannep on May 26, 2011 at 1:09pm

Hi, ladies!  Thanks for starting this group, ohevetbeni.  I am a veteran mom, on since 2009 when my son left for bc.  I will let the other veteran moms know that you all are here!  We are glad to help with any questions!

Oevetbeni: If you want to download your own personal PIR profile pik, just google "Navy Pictures" and then choose one...save it...and download!  You don't need to keep the silhouette picture...you can personalize this page any way that you like.  You may want to add a countdown clock too!

You all keep posting the link to this group on BootCamp Moms so that the ladies can find you all as their form letters come in.

This will be quite an adventure, and JessicaB, Lala, Betsy, and I are here to help as veteran moms.  Well, they will be here SOON...I'm going to let them know about you all.

Let the fun begin!  :-)

Good morning, I'm from Arizona and my SR reported Tuesday, May 17th, and I got my form letter yesterday. Those 3 short lines from him were so great to read, and a relief to hear him say, "It is all going good, but I am not going to lie it is intense. Send a phone card."  Now I know that he is doing okay.
