Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

NavyMomJanet, I can definitely identify what you are experiencing....but I also know the power of prayer and my most recent testimony is how my Sailor passed the Prone Float at the last hour possible before getting set back and we credit that to all of the prayers that was on her behalf...Trust the process and continue to believe!!!!

NavyMomJanet - You have my prayers that your daughter passes her run....I know you're worried but it's true there's nothing greater than the power of prayer. Hugs and kisses to you....it'll be okay....she'll do it. They'll make sure she does it.

Hey my new family! I am getting ready for church I am going to Praise the Lord for taking care of our love ones. My daughter said a lot if them were now friends on face book. She laughed and I could hear her smile. I love my daughter and I am happy they came together as a team.

We will offer a special prayer for her. It has to be difficult to get this far and miss by so little. Our son was struggling with his run during his DEP training before going in. Missed his run by 20 seconds. Know how difficult it was to watch. But, perseverance and prayer got him through. She will make it.

Yep, Jimbo is absolutely correct. NO cell phones on RTC. Pass off at the airports or for those staying at GL for A School, after liberty when returning to A School base.
Yep, danagagirl: Mine wouldn't pay for computer time either when he was there! HA!

Dianne - yes I have access to his account.. But neither one were willing to pay to use the computers..so my first son said!
