FireTeamLeaderWife... He wrote last Thursday that he was finally out of pain, which was a relief.  He is feeling quite blue, but the Chief did tell him if his leg heals well, he will be put back with an 800 division.  He was 5 weeks in. He was excited about being able to do some firearms training before he went in RCU. Really looking forward to a letter today.  Thank you for asking.

You all have been such a support. Congratulations and I truly wish we could be with you all for PIR. Best wishes to all your sailors.

The same wishes to you Invisible!  Have my candle burning:)  Got 4 letters today!  My son sounds so much better and very busy at this point,  Only SEVEN days ladies and gentlemen!  Really excited to meet you all, too.  Have wonderful dreams of your soon-to-be sailors:)

I just wanted to say good night and let all of you know how special you are.  I'm so looking forward to next week.  I'm beyond excited to meet all of you and of course to hug and kiss my soon-to-be Sailor.  I hope everyone has their candles ready to go, if they're not already burning.

TwinsMom... When my son fractured his leg, we received a phone call that told us he was transferred to RCU (medical unit).  Don't worry too much.  As diannep said, no news is good news. They will take good care of him.

Congratulations to all of your success stories.  I know you are all very proud.

@Navywife your son is too cute!

@ Jrunner Congrats to you and your SR!

TwinsMom... What division is your son in? There are 2 Meet and Greets held Wed. evening for family and friends attending PIR. The Ramada has one and there is a new one put on by Sarge. Sarge's Meet and Greet is explained in the discussions above. I think the Ramada is up above under the weather.

TwinsMom:  If he had been asmoed (setback), you would have received a call.  SO consider no news as good news.

Lala Ribbon Queen makes beautiful ribbons you can wear to PIR and the MeetNGreet.  Her picture icon is up top/to the right, in the "Members" section...the one with the blue ribbons. Click on it and go to her page to see pictures.  Message her if you are interested in ordering some.  She gets them done quickly and priority mails them to you. Very reasonably priced!

So proud of your SR, jrunner!
