For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

No phone call from my Sailor, Div 370...hopefully later this week...I am not sure she has conquered the Prone Float challenge...so were anxiously waiting for a call...Goodnight! Your lucky you got an hour call, I only got like 15 minutes! :( he said he's hoping fot another call this week. We shall see! Ahhhh we are almost in single digits! I know what I'm doing tomorrow..... Printing my gate pass! Geez makes it seem ever closer!!

Comment by NavyWife10 on October 30, 2011 at 9:11pm: I spoke to my husband for a WHOLE HOUR this evening!!! He is doing great :) I am so proud of him. I am still smiling from ear to ear. He gave me the battlestations date for anyone who still needs it. He said he has a "surprise" on graduation day and hinted that it's something to do with his position at PIR. Just more motivation for me to get there early and find the perfect seat, as if I didn't already have that Planned. LOL! Only 10 days left, well almost 9 days. I am getting soooo excited to see him and to meet everyone here on N4M's. Thanks for all the support during these past 2 months.
