My sub son sent a picture and he has snow ...my FL boy was not thrilled!  I keep telling myself that I am going to Hawaii not Chicago in 20 degree weather... thinking warm thoughts!

Happy Trick or Treating to everyone :) We're almost there!!

Question:  If an SR has already passed the first 2 PFA's, do they HAVE to pass the final one? Is each test more difficult than the previous or are they just extra chances to pass before BS21?  Haven't heard a word about the PFA from my daughter.

Great news about weather Jimbo, I was wondering about snow. The reason I decided to fly is because I was concern about a long drive then dealing with snow. It is very cold here and the icy rain has not ceased all day, but reading about all of the great news and knowing we will see our love ones soon warms my heart.

Invisible, I'm so happy you got a letter. It is truly a wonderful feeling. @ Jimbo, wow I was wondering when they were going to do the gas chamber. How wonderful to receive a phone call. My daughter told me the last PFA was going to be this coming Monday, October 31st. I am praying really hard because of her previous injury. I'm trusting all will be well.

Yeah Invisible!   glad you got your letter! And congrats to your son on his PFA!

Jimbo- which div is your daughter in? Can only hope  the gas chamber doesn't bother my daughter!  sounds absolutely aweful!

Comment by diannep on October 29, 2011 at 4:40pm
Jimbo:  I remember when someone from an earlier PIR group posted that their son was not bothered by the gas chamber...at all.  The RDCs were in "awe" of him because they said that "immunity" is VERY rare.  Sounds like maybe you daughter's friend is the same way? Yes, I bet the gas chamber WILL help her cold!  Seems to be the "plus side" of the gas chamber!  HA!  Congrats on the call!
Comment by Jimbo on October 29, 2011 at 3:48pm
The real Chicago snow usually doesn't come until December. It's rare to have November snows here.
Comment by Jimbo on October 29, 2011 at 3:46pm
Got a 40 minute phone call this morning! They did the gas chamber yesterday(?). She said it was a piece of cake and didn't even bother her at all. Her nose didn't run. She has a little cold so maybe that helped. She said there was another girl that it didn't bother and I think she said they made her go back in to make sure...lol.
