I got a letter !!!!!  Whooooo Hoooooo!!!!  Now I'm a happy mom :)  He said he passed his PFA (I'm assuming this was the one he needed to pass) AND I'M SO PROUD OF HIM.  We were both worried...but he did it!!!  He didn't say anything about BS but the letter was written on the 20th so that was over a week ago.  Hopefully the next letter OR PHONE CALL will give me more info.

OMG I'm so happy right now.

There was snow on the cars but none on the grounds we are having freezing rain. I'm in Maryland. Be careful.

Good Morning Ladies and thank you for the pick-me-up.  I'm going to try and stay positive today - going for a mani and a pedi and sneak a little massage in there too.  Maybe when I get home they'll be a letter waiting for me.

Guess what???  IT'S FREAKIN SNOWING HERE !!!!!!  Not sticking but snowing big flakes!  It's tooooooo early for this....I'm in New York.

Thank you Kimmys Momma, it was my honor to serve this wonderful country. I am so grateful for our military men and women. I will continuous pray for all if them. I know all of you feel like I do, a sense of pride for our love ones. Every time I think of holding my baby, I smile and cry at the same time. Have a blessed weekend everyone.

Marcia Shea's Mom you rock! Praying for your daughter as well! My daughter is in DIV 952. Please keep her in your prayers. Have an awesome weekend!

Yes, I agree with what is being said about Sarge's departure info.  It all can change...and he would have no control over that.  Even coming from your SRs, it can change and has (like with FTLW's son).  So...flexibility is the name of the game...and lots of prayers!

NavymomJanet:  Since you all are a Thurs PIR group rather than a Fri group (when most leave out on Sat)...yes, many will be leaving Fri morning.  Let's hope that some may have longer there though!  Plans can change!

We are a new extended family, absolutely no need for apologies, all good intentions, I appreciate all of the good information. When I was in the Marine Corps I would have never imagine my two children in the military, however, I am so very proud of them. I can tell you from experience knowing you have the love, support, and understanding of family makes it easier. SEMPI Fi (Always Faithful).
