I'm stalking the RTC facebook page looking for pictures of 952 performing today.

For everyone worrying, I think it's getting easier for them.  That really is how it seemed after the phone call I got this week. They have been through the worst of it, and they are changed people now.  Stronger, focused, proud.  I don't think we have to worry!

(Says the mom who was going out of her mind a week ago after a "sick, bummed" letter.)

Well, I'm jumping on the nervous and anxiety-ridden bandwagon.  I feel like my mind is going a mile a minute.  I just get exhausted but I can't relax.  UGH...I hate this.  LOL. I too am praying for a phone call or letter today.

And the wet noodle thing - HA HA HA....that's great.  You're nice though.  I'd probably smack him one!

Have a great day ladies and hopefully I'll have good news to post later.

I'm so happy to see everyone else is feeling the same way. I seriously feel like I can't get any work done, my mind is racing, and I can't help but wondering what they are doing right now. Are they nervous? anxious? scatterbrained? or is it just us Moms/wives?!?! LOL!!!

I finally heard from my daughter!! (DIV 952) Well... Maybe not. But, she did call her BestFriend!! I guess I dont rank as high as I'd like to think, but that's okay for know, at least I know my girl's doing great & performing in her first PIR at this very moment!
Btw... I'm gonna use the wet noodle, too! Thanks, danagagirl!

danagirl, I am laughing as I read your post. I decided to visit your page. Wow, two boys in the Navy!!  You must be very proud. I can't imagine going through this torture twice, LoL.

Good Morning all! Sending lots of hugs and prayers your way today. I too am feeling just a little stressed, overwhelmed, nervous. I have received lots of letters from my husband and he says things are getting much better. He was excited about certain things they would be doing this week. I am hoping for a phone call today, he said they might be awarded one if they did well on their test and drill inspection this past Tuesday. Hearing his voice would definitely give me the reassurance that I need that he is doing just fine. Lets keep counting down the days Ladies. All though it seems so close, yet so far away.. we will be there before we know it. I hope you all have a GREAT day!!! 12 more DAYSSS!!!

There is so much going through my mind right now, I just don't know how to settle it down! My emotions are all over the place, not really like me. I don't know when BS is and that drives me nuts. I haven't got a letter this week but I know he's busy. I have Nov. 4th marked on my calendar and burned into my brain. All PIR plans are made and I still feel like I'm forgetting something! Anyone else having this scattered of a time? 13 days and I can hug my son and see for my own eyes that he's doing great! Warm Hugs to all of you!!!

LOL danagagirl...I'm picturing that wet noodle beating!!! :D You seriously made me laugh out loud. Now everyone in my office thinks I'm crazy for laughing by myself! ;)  Our sons letters are very upbeat, but has gotten shorter. I know they are studying a ton and learning all kinds of stuff right now. Big hugs to you!!!
