Paces, so sorry to hear about your son. Praying for him and your family.

We would rather stay with the one at the Ramada because that's where we are staying.

Sarge is very reliable. My son was a customer of his while at Great Lakes. His prices are reasonable to.

Missync1 and Navymomjulie - I completely understand. He does provide free transportation to and from just so you know.  I'm not certain yet what I'm going to do.  His starts at 5:00 so I may just do both.  Either way I will make sure all the moms I made name tags for get them.  Even if I have to mail them to you directly before I leave.  I really want to meet all of you so I'll make it work somehow!

missync1-04-823- I agree. My husband doesn't like to drive in heavy traffic or big cities so we will stick with Ramada as we are staying there as well.  Just more convenient for our family.  Nothing personal.

paces, prayers for him as he recovers, joins another division/PIR group and becomes a sailor.  Write extra often now while he is in there as it can get discouraging for them.  Ask everyone you can think of to stay in touch with him!

Be sure to join the RCU group on NavyforMoms.

SARGE is wonderful.  Now has his own MeetNGreet (a new thing) but he is the "transportation guru" in that area for anyone needing help during PIR weekend.  He is retired military and has some others who work with him.  Never have heard a bad word about him...rave reviews!  Good prices too!

Here's his number for anyone interested in contacting him for transportation issues:

Invisible, not interested in chaning Meet and Greet at thits point, since the whole readon we chose to stay AT the Ramada is because M&G is there.  It's hard enough to coordinate things from this distance in the first place...

Come on Jimbo - you know who Sarge is!!! LOL  I don't have info yet.  He's getting it to me sometime over the weekend so I will post it as soon as I get it.  It seems that everyone loves him and he said he's now done 3 meet & greets and wants to do more.  We spoke for almost an hour.
Comment by Jimbo on October 22, 2011 at 1:54am
who is Sarge...lol? Did I miss something?

What is Sarge's meet and greet and where is that located?  What time is that taking place?  I need more informaton about it before I decide.
