While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Ladies, Had to step back a bit from here. I was becoming obsessed! I would just sit and bounce from group to group and then to RTC site . I dont know why. I needed to get the housework and school work done! Sometimes some of the postings make me very sad and I have to pull away! for the most part, I love this site and can't wait to meet some of you gals!!! looking forward to it! Cant wait till we start getting our "I'm a Sailor" calls! How awesome and Proud I will feel! I already feel so Proud I could burst!

Yep, the ladies are right. Print as many gate passes as you need! They will be available for you all to print 11 days before PIR (usually the Monday of the week before PIR).

from what I have read, I am pretty sure you can. Veronica. We are getting a rental car to drive up, and I am using the shuttle service from the hotel

Does anybody know if you can print off 2 parking passes? My son's dad and I are divorced, I don't really want to ride together (unless we had to). LOL. I might just take a shuttle, but not sure yet.

We had a Sweet 16 party this weekend, went on the Parkway this afternoon looking at leaves and I just got off the phone with my Sailor. They get to come home for Thanksgiving and they are bringing 2 extra Sailors.One from Washington State. My sailor/daughter is going to find out if their moms are on this site :-) I am so excited they get to come home.
Even with driving all over the Parkway looking at the Fall colors the prettiest tree was in my front yard :-)
