While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I just wanted to thank everyone for the compliments on the name tags. I'm so glad you like them.
Jrunner - I'm sorry your daughter is homesick. It will pass! Plus the really busy stuff should be coming up now so she won't have time to miss home. And before she knows it - you'll be there!!!!
Zenda - hysterical picture! Loved it!
So far I have 12 name tags - Seems like there should be more. I'll keep posting reminders every so often for anyone who wants a name tag. For those of you who are already getting one - sorry to bother you...LOL!

Omg! I almost forgot to share that I GOT A CALL FROM MY HUBBY LAST NIGHT!!!!! He sounded great. He did say the division is still struggling as a team but for all of us to keep praying! He sounded Great though! He is excited for battlestations and passed his first tests! I am one proud wife!!! I miss him so much and actually can't believe how fast the time has gone. 28 days!!!!

Invisible- The name tags are awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to make those for all of us.
danagagirl- did you take the shuttle from Ramada w/your last son? We are staying at the Ramada and we were trying to decide whether or not to take the shuttle. 7am seems a little late since we are allowed to arrive on base by 6:30am. Any thoughts on this?
