While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Hi, my name is Marcelle, my son just enlisted and signed up for ABH. I have read alot of scary things about ABH's. He scored very hi on his ASVAB. I am very worried about this job, it seems very dangerous. Can anyone give me some insight, please.
For those of you considering whether you should go to a Meet & Greet event I would highly recommend Sarge's Meet & Greet located at the Sundance Saloon. My older son and husband thought I was crazy to sign us up a Meet & Greet and I could tell when we first arrived they still felt that way. Does anyone know if I, her mother, can stay at the hotels on base? If so, would it be a problem if my partner stayed with me? Him and I are not married.
My daughter is based in Everett right now, but we are going to meet in San Diego in Feb., where her friend is stationed. When she was in A school at Fort Lee, the base hotel told me that I had to have a military ID to stay at the hotel on base. Is that the case with all of the base hotels or does it depend on the base. "K-ace" is leaving for boot camp on Jan 14th 2013. He is my first born. I am so completely proud of him. I am so grateful to N4M's in that I can now lose it and cry my eyes out in anticipation of him leaving without feeling like I'm going insane. The mail is flowing now and my day's are getting easier to deal with. Yayyyy for me, my baby is sick though and she says she went to medical sinus an ear infection. She say's mom i just wish u were here to take care of me. She also stated that's she's bored lol it must not be intense enough for her. Hello Everyone,
I havent been on here in a while but my daughter will be leaving Monday for BC. I have so many mixed emotions right now but not displaying any in her presence I just keep smiling but inside my baby is leaving home. Hi - How do I change the access list for the upcoming Feb1st Pass Review Graduation Ceremony? My son put down myself and his 2 sisters, but they are unable to go. So I want to invite his Grandparents instead. How do we get this changed?
