For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Today my Army son told me the date for his next deployment.. this time Afganistan.. I have one in Iraq still who is on his 3rd deployment, however when he comes home this time its for good he is leaving the Navy and pursuing his education..
I only have one thing to say about this latest news of deployment..

So I got another letter from my daughter today, was so excited until I read the letter... She is Grad-N-Go, which means I will only see her Friday, she leaves Saturday morning at 2:00am for Pensacola... Yeah!! What an experience on PIR day!!
It was so amazing and so breath taking for me. To see my son proudly marching in with his division wearing his dress whites. OMG- tears were flowing from my eyes as I proudly watched him and his division stand with pride. After the ceremony was over, we raced down to the floor to see him, and the tears were flowing from my family eyes as well as my new sailor's eyes!!
