Hi,
My husband is in boot camp right now and I was just wondering how often they get to call home. I haven't heard from him much since he left ( he says the only free time they get is when they sleep), and I miss hearing his voice. Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks

Hello all!
I'm new to all of this. My fiancé is currently in boot camp and will be graduating Nov. 27! I'm having a hard time and have a few questions. He is going in as a PACT airman and will be going to Pensacola for three weeks after he is finished with boot camp. I was told since he will be on a carrier his options of where he can be stationed at are Virginia, Washington, San Diego, and Japan. Since we aren't married yet…

Our second son is firmly ensconced in basic training. Surprisingly, it is not quite as hard this second time around. I am still somewhat nervous but not nearly as nervous as I was a year ago. Our first child has had to go through quite a bit in his Navy experience and, after a year and three months, is waiting to see if they will force a medical separation. When he enlisted, he had planned on making this his career. He doesn't want to leave the Navy, but the choice is no longer his to make.…

My baby boy has all grown up. He turns 19 today and I'm missing him greatly. Feeling old and sad, but proud and happy for him at the same time. I'm hoping that he is having a nice day and I can't wait to see him in less than a month now. :) Happy, happy day!

I have backed off a little because I don't want my son to cut himself off from me completely. They are both well aware of my suspicions but neither of them (choose) to give the family any real proof. I can't believe my son can't just WAKE UP. Thanks for the advice and I'm hopping that if we give her enough rope she will hang herself, I just want her to do it before she gets pregnant for real. She and I both know. She wont come clean but I'm not shuting up about this. I hope everyone around…

I never really understood the word bittersweet until this morning. His sister Sydney, my gf Christina and myself took him to supper last night for the last time before BC. Seth choose to live with his dad after the divorce and I backed him in his decision so I haven't been around him 24/7 since he was 13. We are about 30 mins apart so seen each other often but is that ever really enough? no, it's not and I live with guilt everyday that I wasn't there for him like a mom should have…

My son left Oct 1st for GL. Its been a long, tearful week. I have been a basket case. Now today, I am actually smiling and so happy, relieved and feeling soooo much better! I got the form letter, with his handwriting filling in the blanks! I could have kissed it! Now I know his address, his ship and his graduation date!
Who would have thought a form letter could make me so happy?! LOL
His graduation date is Nov. 27th! The day after his sisters birthday and the day before…

I think my son's wife lied about being pregnant to get married. They are living in San Diego and he just won't believe me. There were no ultrasound pictures with her name on them, she claimes to have miscaried the 4 mounth twins one Tuesday morning at 1 AM but worked for the following 3 days in her 12 hour shift and she doesn't know the doctor's name because it is " really hard to spell". Does anyone have any idea what is going on and how can I get this pathological liar out of our lives.…

My heart is with you Deontes MOM, the day I took him to meet his recruiter was really the worst for me. We were leaving home, his room and his home town for the last time, it was almost more than I could bear, I felt like it kept me from enjoying my last hours with him because I was so sad. Yes, after I dropped him off, even though I knew I would see him the next day at MEPS, I felt like a balloon someone had let the air out of. Totally lifeless, and weak as a kitten. He never showed any…
