Missing my son

My son was home and left today I am feeling like part of me is gone where do I go from here I came home to an empty room and my home feels empty without him. I can shake this emptiness with all the family around I know everyone says it’s ok. But I cannot help feeling sad.

A bit confused

Good afternoon,

My daughter graduates November 9th.  We are arriving on November 8th.  We plan on driving to the graduation ceremony.  I'm not sure how to get my driving pass.  Do I get the driving pass first, then the ticket?  Any insight would be most helpful.

Losing it

Our sailor came home for transfer leave. This is his first time home in about 11 months. First time since leaving for boot camp. I have loved having him home. But it has been a little rough but in all it has been wonderful. Just having him here and seeing his face everyday has been fantastic. But... this mom is starting to lose it. He leaves soon to go to his next duty station and then when his ship arrives he will be going out on it. So I’m starting to get quite sad. It’s hard to think that… Continue

Anyone's child go AWOL?

My daughter went to boot camp and A school and was in Reserves, signed for 8 years (4 years ago). We noticed she had not been coming around in her BDU's for a while and questioned if she was still in and she told us it just wasn't for her and she just stopped going. She was not aware what AWOL meant, as my husband had to tell her what it stood for.

Last year she flew to Bahrain to see her ex-bf at a base over there and she made it home with no issues so I had to assume that she's in…

Anyones child in ship 03 division 11?

My son is in this group graduating on Nov. 17th. I was hoping to find other parents to share information back and forth with. I got my form letter a few days ago and still no call. I read on this site somewhere that it could be nearly 20 days or more before we hear from them.

Son leaving today 9/19/17

Ok so right now he's at MEPS. ETA in GL around 5 or 6ish. I'm seeing they only get 4 tickets to graduation. Is this correct? Is there a way to get more? This upset him when he found out. For those with extended families, divorces, remarriages. Lord how will he choose? Plus I'm going through a gambit of emotions. Lol so for him to be upset, upsets me more.

Bootcamp

My son left last Tuesday for bootcamp.  When can I expect a call and information on how to write him?  His birthday is Oct. 1.  Should I send treats, or is this not a good idea?  Thanks! Susa
