Great! I was just starting to do it. Thanks.

Yes my son will graduate on 11/4/11. He is on ship 09 div 364 and I've only gotten one letter which was a form letter with a quick note written on the back.  Still waiting to get a real letter from him.  How about you - have you heard anything yet?

I only received one letter also. I have sent my son numerous of letters. Wow have anyone received any phone calls?
I have not received a phone call yet but I have also sent 4-5 letters/cards.  Still waiting for at least a letter.
I do. My boyfriend! His division is 04/822
My son is graduating on Nov 4 also.  Are you able to go to PIR?  I live in Michigan so it is only about a 4 hour drive for me, thank goodness.  I am pretty bummed that only 4 people can attend the ceremony.  Do you have a son or daughter graduating?  I can't wait to get there and see them, it will be great !!

Wendy, more will come on and join the group for your PIR date. In the mean time, keep an eye out for others with recruits who leave the same time yours did and just let them know about the PIR groups. (OK. newbies, this is where you can start helping out) Here is a list of the next eight groups.  The links are already attached.

Just copy and paste into your comment. Good luck to your recruit. Thanks in advance for helping.

Yes my son will graduate 11/4 also.  We live in the Chicago area so I'll definitely be attending!  Just got my first letter on Tues. 9/27 (actually it was 3 letters).  I should be getting them every week now but I haven't gotten a phone call yet - can't wait for that day!

Hi !!

I really am worried that I will miss his call.  That would just break my heart.  I am just going to have to tell my boss that I am going to keep it with me at all times and if he doesn't like it...too bad !!  =) lol.  I got my first letter yesterday and was soo excited !!  And relieved because he "sounded" really good.  I was starting to get worried even though I know the first few weeks are crazy busy.  I guess that is just the mom in me.  Now I feel bad because I never realized whay MY mom went through the day I left for bootcamp.  I guess that's my payback..lol.  I hope we both get our calls soon !!!!

Wendy where are you from I also am from Michigan my boyfriend is in BC graduating Nov 4 2011
We live in Britton which is about half an hour south of ann arbor. Where r u from?

I got my first letter last week as well as a unexpected phone call that lasted a good 10 minutes.  I got another letter this week but he writes that he hopes to see me on11/8?
