My boyfriend's first letter he sent

Well first of all my boyfriend left on June 13th. We got his box & form letter already. Today on the 23rd i got my first letter from him, he sent me two letters. He said they messed up his shipdate & that he was supposed to leave a week earlier. So he had to catch up with everyone else, which was hard. But he said he's all caught up for now but they are about to have to pull his wisdom teeth out & he will have to play catch up again. I feel so bad for him… Continue

Or if there is any way I can move out to pensacola Florida in an apartment- and have him live with me during his schooling? Also- has anyone gone to a college out in pensacola that has any reccomendations? Anyone experience this?

Encouragement Please

So my husband has now been in boot camp for two days. I am in so much shock because we have never been through anything like this before. We have been inseperable for four years straight- and I feel like I have absoultely no control over anything! I recieved his "last phone call" last night at 2:00 am and he could only talk for two minutes- and I was barely awake for the phone call, so I don't even remember what he said! All I heard was "I love you, bye." I am so upset! I feel so hopeless,…

In Excellant hands

Yes our son has inlisted in the Navy.  He worked hard to be able to do so.  I am emotional too about him leaving however, this is the best classroom anyone could hope for their child.  If they think they know how to do it he/she will be taught to do it the Navy way.  If they are in question about anything they will be told the correct answer.  If they need guidance they are the Navy they will be guided.  So other Mom's sleep well tonight they are in excellant hands they are the Navy.

Here I go again!

My middle son has been in for a year and 1/2 now and will be promoted to E-3 July 1st and was just informed that he will be eligable to take the test for E-4 in October.  Im so proud of him, but miss him something aweful!  My "baby"  leaves on July 11th for BC.  Im missing him already and he hasn't even left yet.  He just graduated high school in May.  It's hard to believe all my kids have graduated high school and are leaving the nest,  this is just a little hard to deal with.
