Our son was with VFA 41 for a least 4 years. He's still in Lemoore, just not with 41 anymore.
My son has been there for about 3 years now. He is used to it and has found things to keep him busy - there is not a heck of a lot to do up there. He is an AO with VFA 41.
We went to Lemoore for Christmas, great vacation. We flew into San Francisco, drove to Lemoore, the Navy Lodge is a great hotel. We drove to Hollywood with our sailor, dud the Access hollywood tours, drove back know to San Francisco and saw the Golden Gate bridge, Nob Hill, Fishermans Wharf, Japan and China town. Lots of driving but it was a great vacation
tigermom - You could try Connie's Homemade Treats in Hanford. We got cakepops from them and they were delicious. I don't know if they deliver though. Otherwise you could always check and see if either Mrs. Fields or Cookies by Design can get something delivered to Lemoore by tomorrow. Good luck!
Good morning everyone.
i'm trying to find out places i can order cookies or cake to be delivered to him tomorrow. Its his 21st birthday and his package is not going to make it to him??? Help
Hello everyone, my son just got soft orders to Lemoore, while is not yet set in stone the chances of that changing are small. We are from Los Angeles area, so at least it is driving distance. Is it about 3hrs drive to LA right? What else is out there? it seems so desolate looking in the map and yet a couple hours to everywhere. How are the accommodations for a single guy? Anyway just looking for any info I can get. Thanks. This will be his first orders.
