~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Ok, sailsetter:  You're GOOD!  Wow...you must have eagle-eye vision!    It looks a bit chilly up there!

I have no idea sailsetter, some event or chant during the Captains Cup lol

Sailsetter! That is awesome. I truly hope it's him! Then you really can say "I know my boy anywhere" :D

Oh!! I see her!! she looks like quite a fun gal. what in the world are they doing :O)

this is what i think is my sons eyebrow.. not the one right by the front RDC but the taller one to his right and slightly behind-closer by the parking garage.

Now what would really be funny would be if two of you both thought the same recruit was yours lol. I found a pic of my daughter during Captains Cup and you can't see her face but I was POSITIVE it was her and I was right, lol so there is still hope you. Here is the pic with her. She is between the middle and the right, blonde hair with her arm right in front of her eyes and it looks like another girl could bite her hand lol. . I showed her the copy and she was shocked that I had that. They didn't even notice a photographer :)

I hadn't been to the AP in so long! It was kinda fun!LOL

It was Memorial Day weekend when we had PIR O'Hare had some really nice displays.

Ate at Chilis as we got there real early and had an hour delay because of weather. Oh, one "funny" the toilets at O'Hare had automatic toilet seat covers! So when you got up after the flush it would automatically slide the old away and the new over the seat! The mirrors have ads until you stand before them and they become mirrors.

I don't get out much it seems :-)

Okay. Totally confused. Can someone post the link to Facebook to see pics? My son is in Division 913.

LadyHawk, The land beyond airport security has lots of different things.  Billings Airport where we fly out of is really small (only 2 airlines and 4 gates) has a huge gift shop and really nice cafe.  Big airports have what amount to small cities, at least more stuff than my town.  You can take whatever you buy on the plane.(including water or other drinks)  I've taken full meals on before. What flight attendants serve depends on how long your flight is.  Even 1 hour flights serve assorted soda, coffee, and give out snacks.  If you get soda ask for the can along with the cup of ice.  You get more that way.  My kids have always asked for and get extra snacks.  If you have long flights you may get a meal.  They are pretty good.  If you aren't sure about something ask at any gate.  People who work there are really helpful.  Hope you have a fun and uneventful flight.
