Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

He passed away this year, fortunately he was aware enough to know my daughter was going to follow in his footsteps. I made a necklace with his picture in it to wear to the funeral and recently my mother gave me this pin of his and I decided to make a bracelet in order to honor him. Every time I wear it people ask me "Who do you know thats in the Navy". It's a great way for me to honor my dad and all who serve. Thought I would share it with you all. He would have been 85 this week :) As you can see I do like a little bling

Happy belated Birthday LaLa! I know birthdays are tough without getting to talk to or see our SR's. Mine was on the 4th, and I was pretty bummed all day. Make that Totally Depressed All Day! LOL! Hey! TDAD can be a new acronym for down days!

It was my birthday and my son came home from Charlotte and our two seniors came home from their senior trip to Washington and NY City so I spent the day with my family. I hope everyone has a beautiful day and I hope you all are lucky and get a nice call from your recruit :-)
