Recruits are granted phone call if there is any change in their status. This call may not happen on the exact day this occurs but as soon as possible.

Here is some info from the Family Guide by RTC:

"Recruits will be granted a phone call when they fail a training requirement, or become injured or ill, which could delay their graduation."

These are from the RTC Website FAQ's:

Q.
How can I find out if my recruit is graduating? Will you put a list up on the Web site?
A.

Recruits are required to contact their family if their training is disrupted and they will not graduate on time. If you have not heard from your recruit, no news is good news. Unfortunately, because we can have over 1,000 graduating Sailors each week and divisions may be running Battle Stations during the week of graduation; it is not feasible to accurately list every graduating recruit online.

Q.
My recruit failed their fitness test (run) or swim qualification. When will he/she graduate or what is their status?
A.

While recruits are listed in this status, they are not scheduled to graduate. They will not get another phone call until their status changes, meaning: They have passed their test. If they pass before their graduation date, they will complete Battle Stations with whatever division is going through it next. If they pass their test after their original division has graduated, they will then go directly on to their A School. They will not participate in a graduation ceremony as their division would have already graduated and we do not wish to delay their A School training any further.

Vivian,

My hubby is the Dad that runs the PIR May 4 Facebook page. The letter that we recieved today stated it was from week 2 day1 that the letter was written, right now it is week 4 day7.  This was before the phone calls were made.  I'm sure if it was your daughter you would have been told by now.  No Worries!!!

No news is good news!

They had a BIG test, my son said everyone was studying really hard, and some did not get a chance to write letters. He wrote a couple of lines each night to make up 1 letter. So if they waited to write it all at once instead of a little each night, chances are their study time took up their letter time. Try not to worry. The Division 925 also loses alot of free time due to performance practice for PIR

I'm positive you would know if it was your daughter, but it's NOT!! Hang in there, Vivian. :) Prayers.

I'm a little nervous ladies, No letter this week. The dad that runs PIR May 4 on Facebook said that his daughter wrote him and said 5 have dropped out. That makes me nervous. Do they call us if it's our RS? Or are they just put back. I'm a worry wart this week :(

GF got a letter today! He's REALLY loving it!!! Says the group is starting to get it together, but there's still some holding everyone else back. It's improving though. The letter is again VERY upbeat, he's so excited and loving it. He's sick though. Was sick for the big Inspection and test the other day, but didn't let anyone know. Passed them all.

He got a promotion in Rate. Said he got his collar device, and that he looks very handsome in his dress blues! He said letters are extremely important and tell everyone to send as much as possible. Then it said Dirty letter starts here, and his gf wouldn't let me see the rest. She was all giggles. I'm just worried about relationships interfering with study time at A School, being as they will be able to call, chat, text. Hope they can control themselves! LOL! Very in love!

Quiet on here today, thought it would be buzzing with tidbits from everyone's mail. I'm ready for tidbits!

Awesome! They sell the patches there too! My son's gf is a tattoo artist, your hubby could probably have that skull defined again, and fix it right up.
