Dang it!!! The answer to my question is GULLIBLE! That just burst my bubble!

I just had to investigate that weather widget! Turns out you can use ANY pic for the background. They remove the sky, and replace it with the current sky conditions. So maybe my falling stars are real??? I'm thinking the plants swaying in the breeze are a prop, designed to move with the current wind speed.

Well...I'm gonna keep wishin' on the falling stars, LOL! They are, after all....the "current sky condition" so they MUST be real!

I'm gonna do everything I possibly can to help keep my son safe and alive. He's going to be a (HM) Corpsman, volunteering for  Fleet Marine Forces, wants to be assigned to a combat unit of Special Forces or Marines as their Combat Medic. Marines affectionately call them "Devil Docs".

So keep on falling stars! Mama's got lots of wishes to make!

Crazy Blonde, there are quite a few farms in IL, so could be.  lol

Good Morning dianne.

Good morning, diannep and everyone!

Crazy Blonde ~ you make me laugh!  Thanks!  I needed that this AM! :o)

Lola - what a wonderful gesture and I'm sure it will bless them greatly!

Good morning all!

Comment by Crazy Blonde (Ship 2, Div-925) on April 2, 2012 at 12:04am

Am I gullible??? OR...Is the weather widget (above) LIVE like it says it is. LOL!!!

Every night when I glance at it, I see a falling star shoot across the screen! I've been making wishes super fast EVERY TIME, so LIFE is going to be GREAT if even a few of them wishes come true.! LOL!

So I'm hoping it's REALLY LIVE like it says, and that the falling stars, birds flying around every day, and the smoke from the chimney, and the FAST moving clouds, plants blowing in the breeze, and the little farm house lights are ALL REAL. By the way, they seem to always leave at least 1 light on, sometimes 2! LOL! Hoping it's REAL and not a fake video!

CB:  Sorry...pm your number again to me please---disappeared when I accepted our friend request.  Headed to bed now....late here....crazy day tomorrow as I have to work at my parents' home in the morning and then back home to prepare for a dinner group at my house that night.  Any chance I can try and call on Tues?  If so, please give me an east coast time to call.

CrazyBlonde, That is such a wonderful idea.  I wish all of our groups had someone like you.

Lola, what a wonderful and sweet gesture.

Lola, that is such an awesome idea, sending the cards! Whew, sore fingers from all that writing I'm sure!

Dianne, I sent you a PM, yesterday I think. Can you call me? Thank You.

Lala!!! Wow she really was a busy mama! Pretty pic too!

Hubby, future daughter in-law, and my self sat down last night and had a card party.  We made 90 easter cards with a message or joke wriiten in each one and plan to send them off in the morning to ship 2/div 925.  This way all will get a letter and hopefully if they are not recieving mail they will be able to write and we can write them back.  This way they all will get a letter from home even if it not thier original home.

Navy... We take care of our boys and girls!!

just a thought Wal-mart seells those cards in packs of 8 to 10 and they are kind of cheap.  it only takes a minute or two to write a message. package them up to your recruite and as long as there is enought they can pass them along.  We even included thier staff so that no one was left out.

Good luck... this is just a thought.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will work.
