Jenn:  Maybe you can record your 5 yr old on your phone saying the things he wants to tell her each day?  I bet she will love seeing those videos after PIR.

Cheryl, I am so happy for you!  I'm hopeful for this week, but if not I know she is in good hands.

Thanks to all the ladies that had the Blues Clues song stuck in their head because I think that helped me to get the very first letter today!!  Yeah!  I got a letter hey hey!!  Makes you feel connected to them again.  I love my mail-man.  I think he know's i've been waiting because he put it right on top.  To anyone who hasn't gotten a letter yet, be patient, it will come.

LaLa...how soon is too soon to order ribbons?

Jenn...my niece is the same age and feels the same way. She still looks down the hallway to see if Ash is coming out of her room.

I was looking at things to do in the Great Lakes area. Torn between touristy and going to Chicago or heading north and going to Milwaukee..

My 5 year old is having the hardest time.  He wants to call Eleni to tell her about things that happened in school, etc.  She is also going to San Antonio for A school. Now I have that Blues Clues song in  my head,...LOL

Ash is headed to San Antonio after BC. I thought the same thing being Memorial Day weekend. I have the stupid Blues Clues song in my head...I got a letter, I got a letter, I got a letter hey hey hey....I want to sing it!! LOL

Our letter day was Thurs also here in Miami.

llzinni:  Where will Ash go to A School?  Since this is Memorial Day weekend, it is quite possible that flights will be full and booked later in the weekend, and she will have more time in GL.  Let's hope so!

lizinnj, I am glad she is able to go visit their friend. I know it is especially hard for twins to be apart so hopefully the visit will help. They could make a sign that says we miss you and hold it up and have someone take a pic of them holding the sign and send it to her to let her know they are thinking about her. Maybe even put encouraging stuff on the sign like we believe in you or we know you can do this. The days at bootcamp drag by but the weeks pass quickly. Also tell her to join this site. There are lots of sisters, friends, etc on here and they could all help each other :-)

We are in NC and our best letter day was Thursday. What day your letters come will depend on where you live. I have my fingers crossed for all of you :-)

Ash's twin sister is having a rough time. She just booked a flight for the morning to Florida to see her and Ash's best friend. She is having a super hard time with the no contact. I am hoping Ash doesn't turn out to be a grad and go at PIR. I'd love them to have some time together. Another reason I got the suite. With the kitchen, they can make all their favorite "snack crap" they eat.

Oh, Liz - we booked the 2 BR suite at R.I. Waukegan too. See you there :)
