kdmom, nothing yet from ship 12 div 158. maybe today, fingers crossed.
My son is in ship 12 DIV 157. I have received 2 letters from him. It doesn't sound like they have a lot of time to write though. His second letter was written over a period of 2 days.
My daughter is in ship 12 div 158,Just wondering if anyone has heard anything from their SR besides the form letter?
good morning, everyone! It was quite cold here in Michigan this morning (we usually get Chicago's weather a day or two after they do). Does anyone know if all of the physical training is done inside? Just wondering if the recruits are also 'braving the elements" :-)
lizinnj, I have met another mom with a son in that division. Is there anyone here with a SR in ship 12, division 158? My son in law is there, but I haven't heard of anyone else.
That picture is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely love it!
lizinni- it sounds like an attention getter from some in your family and may be best to ignore it :-) There are only integrated divisions and all male divisions. No all female divisions at bootcamp.
I am here. Kinda lurking. Have so called family who are playing the boo hoo my niece is in bootcamp card yet are MIA in our lives. Not sure how to handle it. Been looking at hotels, thinking Residence Inn because of the suite option. Will check that out more. Been writing Ash every day or sending a card every day. Messing with my mailman's slow roll of passing the mailbox....gotta come to a stop everyday now with the flag up and not just get the mail door open and slide it in and speed away! LOL I am wondering if Ship 7/161 is an all girl division?
Good morning everyone. I am enjoying myself in VA Beach with my Sailor. She works nights and last night we got to go to the base and watch her launch a jet. We met the pilot and a bunch of the squadron she works with. They are a great bunch of Sailors and so funny. It was awesome getting to see her at work. We got to take pictures but I don't know if they are allowed to be posted so I won't put them on here but here is one taken of her with one of the jets when she got honored and got her name on the jet. If any of you will have an Aviation Ordnanceman you have a lot to look forward to. They are a very close-nit group and I am so proud of my AO :-) IYAOYAS While we are here this week we are also going to see her ship The Harry S Truman and going to Colonial Williamsburg :-)
Good Morning!!! I am stalking airlines, and trying to determine which hotel to call...LOL The countdown ticker makes me smile.
