To my daughter Loran, my son-in-law Nathan, my brother-in-law Dave, my uncle Lewis, my very good friend Chris, my niece Laura, my ex Gary, my late uncles, Lonnie and Lawrence, my late father-in-law Larcom, my late brother-in-law Ralph, all my other family members and friends, and all the many many Sailors, Soldiers and their families that I have come to know and those of you who served our country and played a part in defending our freedom. I appreciate you all so very much ♥ God Bless you, and God Bless America.
txbabydocmom...it upsets me that you will not be joining us for PIR and that your son has been in the waiting game so long. I know that he is ready to start over and move on and I pray that there is some way that they will see the facts and realize that this young man doesn't have a medical reason to be discharged. I know this time has been hard on you and even harder on your brave son. Keep us posted please...or better yet email me and keep me informed (tomorrowstreasures@centurylink.net) I will be praying for you both.
ANNEERN4, very cool! We are heading out Thursday morning. Probably sightseeing on Saturday. We are going to Sarge's as well.
Heading out to Chicago tomorrow. We will do a little sightseeing and scope out the place...LOL See some of you at Sarge's and the rest at PIR.Yay!!
That is a great pic...a memory of this adventure.
What a gift to have this picture! Good for him to exhaust everything to try and stay in. You just never know....prayers continue!
Hey Brandi, my son is in 170!! Thanks for the info, he is one that doesn't share much lol so I love hearing from you guys!! Praying for this week and Battle Stations, he still has to go through that but so happy to hear how all of you have gotten "the call"...
Good morning my fair ladies! Happy Monday Memorial day!
When I talked to Trey yesterday (while he was in recruit heaven) I asked about Captain's Cup. He said that they all had a great time. Their brother division 170 won the "special olympic flag", but they put up a great rivalry fight for it and came in second. We know all about rivalry in TX!!! I think this division 169 has come a long way of working together as a team. I'm so proud of all of them and don't even know them.
By the way......I was awake at midnight last night and found a great movie on INSP about Calvin Graham (starring Ricky Schroder). He was the youngest Sailor in history (at least whom was found out) and joined the Navy at age 12.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calvin_Graham You gotta watch it.
"your" not "you" In too much of a hurry here! :-)
