Twinsmom: They are great about keeping each other awake during BattleStations--TEAMWORK!!!. They know they fail if they fall asleep. Of course in that case, they get to do them again with the next group and pass. But not sure any want to do it twice!
So glad that he saw his brother and that the RDCs made a big deal about it!
Lala, have a wonderful weekend with your family! And thank you for the ribbons! I received them yesterday--beautiful! Can't wait till Friday!
Diannep--hope that worked, but I kept thinking, who makes sure HE stays awake? :) Also, he said he ran into his brother again, and the petty officers wanted to get a side by side comparison, since they are identical! They apparently all had fun with that, and even their shipmates couldn't believe it! I think this was all encouraging for my son who is only on week 3 to see his brother's confidence level, and how he's grown through all this!
TwinsMom: Good thing they DIDN'T go to sleep the night of BattleStations since that is an automatic FAIL if they do! :-) Congrats!
Penquin; Ahhh....Mountain Dew! Loaded with caffeine so just what your sailor needed to stay awake until lights out at 8 pm last night!
Congrats again to all of the new sailors!
Lala: ENJOY! What a special time!
They ask for your sailor's name, division number. So, yes, if you are on that sailor's list, you need to have this info!
Good morning all!
Good morning everyone. I am so happy to see all the calls from your new Sailors. I know you are super excited and probably slept a lot better last night :-) Our Sailor is home from her base in VA and we have lots of family members here from Charlotte, SC, and Alabama, Graduation is later this afternoon for my son and step-daughter. We are so proud of them and happy to be spending the weekend with our family.
Thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of your PIR group. I am so lucky to get to meat so many new friends and keep adding more and more members to my Navy Family. I am very excited for all of you and I know you will have a fabulous time with your new Sailors at PIR :-) Have a great day.
We got our call at about noon today, as well. He sounded so happy and proud! He is a Sailor!!! Said they all did really well. So looking forward to the junk food... I am so proud of all the sailors... Congratulations!
