Yay, another group. I know you are all anxious to get started and have this bootcamp experience behind you :-) The good thing is you won't have to worry about snow lol. And your Sailors will graduate in the Dress White Uniforms or Cracker Jack's as they are sometimes called. Shout Wipes will become your Sailors new best friend lol.
I am Lora, better known as Lala the Ribbon Queen lol. I have been helping on this site for almost 2 years. My daughter left for bootcamp May 25th 2010. I cannot believe it has been that long. It seems like on a few short months ago. I know 8 weeks seems like an eternity but it will be over before you know it. The days will drag but the weeks pass quickly :-) For now get your pen to paper and start writing those letters. Mail call is the sweetest sound in the world to the recruits other than when they get to call home and hear your voice :-)
If you have any questions at all please ask them on this page. There are several of us who are hear every day helping out and answering questions and we love it.
I had posted this earlier today but it disappeared.... very weird.
Wow Trisha, she looks just like you. I know you all are very proud :-)
Great Picture Trisha
Thank you Trisha-Ashley-Mom Love the Picture !!!!!
ctav: Looks like your SR will be in the next PIR group, which we think will be 06/08. Should be formed soon, but in the meantime, stay on this one for lots of good info!
The good news for you is: Looks like your SR will be in the brother division of the first division of that group---they will train together. That means they start training first and become sailors first!
jansu! YEAH! Another N4Moms veteran here to join us! Welcome and thanks for helping out. Keep up the good work! :-)
Thank you jansu831
Cathie379 - he probably opened an account there for his direct deposit and may have signed up for a credit card as well. Just save those things for him. He won't need access to the account while he is in boot camp - they take everything out of their checks before depositing them. If he needs to get into his account, there is a branch there he can go to.
You are now officially:
TG 29 — 9 Divisions (163–170 & 929) Graduate Friday, June 01, 2012
...as per the RTC Website.
