~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Ladies: Question: When did you all find that they checked your names against your sailor's guest list? At the gate when you entered if arriving by shuttle....or before you entered PIR Hall?
Good Morning on this blessed Sunday!
"Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe."
Proverbs 29:25
Ladies,
This isn't the end of your Navy journey!! There are A school groups, C school groups later, state groups, regional groups, rating (job) groups, and the Christian Chat group that I am a part of!! See you on the continuing adventure that is provided via the United States Navy!!
MomLovesRyan,
WOW!! You got bonus time with your Sailor! My daughter's flight to Pensacola left at 11:00 am. So glad for you!! Get your sleepy now~~
Awww, you're welcome Darleen!
What a wonderful thing!! A marriage proposal on top of the awesome PIR graduation!! Now a wedding needs to be planned! Double congratulations to your Sailor and his bride to be!!
It was so wonderful meeting everyone at Sarge's Meet & Greet, PIR, and the Airport! I can't wait to talk more with y'all on here. But, right now I'm still in Chicago. My son left Midway Airport tonite at 7pm. His 5:30pm flight to Pensacola was delayed due to weather in Atlanta. He is now well on his way with 24 other Sailor's heading to the same destination. I've been up since 4:30am Friday morning with the exception of a two hour power nap last night. Hoping to get a decent night's sleep tonite. Goodnight all! Wll catch up more tomorrow evening.
Thanks CatMom509 for all your encouraging words and scriptures and information. You have been such a wonderful help! Our grandson has now graduated from PIR and right afterward in the Hall, proposed to his girlfriend - with the help of several friends in Div 268. She said YES. It was a double blessing for us all to be here for it. Thanks to all the Navy Moms for your friendship through the past 8 weeks!
Hello!
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7
