I like the Patriotic theme! I actually just found a Scentsy Burner today with a Navy logo. I am thinking about ordering it. They had logos for all the military branches & a portion of the proceeds benefits the military and its programs.
I guess the annoying habit that I miss about my Son is the late hours he would keep. He was such a night owl. I get up very early for work & many times he would just be going to sleep at that time. He would sleep a good part of the day away & be up all night. As bootcamp came closer he adjusted his sleep habits so it wouldn't be such a shock.
Finally - i feel it is time... to clean out aaron's room... i have his clothes boxed up...now for all the rest of his things...then i will paint his room and redecorate his room for a guest room...lol for some reason, my mind keeps going back to a patriotic theme... i have a neat pattern for a stack and slash star quilt that will take a weekend to piece together...i'm thinking deep blue walls, with red and white accents....his furniture is already white...have alot of stars and patriotic pieces already- so i think i have talked myself into it!!!! Any thoughts Ladies???
Aaron most annoying habit - being on the computer when ever he wasn't working, sleeping, showering, or eating....that thing was on all the time!!!! I unplugged it, as soon as he left for BC...This week i will box it up for storage...it was his pride and joy...he "built" it...He says he won't have much time now for it...and he will buy a laptop (more convenient- for navy life) to keep in touch with the rest of the world...
wenplus3 - Um, I swear I thought you were talking about my son.
To Luke's mom-- good!! i was just about suggest to you to not worry but just give him space...i learn this w/ my second son when he went to college...if i called too often, i just got short answers and short tempers...i learned to wait and let him call me and he would talk non-stop for a hour...answering all my questions...lol!!! his older brother however, would call to check on us if he didn't hear from us every couple of days....go figure sons out....just like their fathers!!!! Can't live with them CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THEM!!!
I would do anything to pick up my Sailor's dirty clothes off the bathroom floor after his 5th shower of the day!!
