OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

My sailor's annoying habit I would give anything to deal with now:
Not cleaning his room:)

It's been really great getting to know everyone & putting names with faces at M & G. I hope to find time this weekend to post our PIR experience & post what's gone on since.
All of you & the Navy have truly blessed our lives. God is awesome!!!

My sailor likes to watch scary movies. Loves them. But they scare her (go figure!) So if she goes anywhere in the house all lights have to accompany her. I would wake up sometimes in the middle of the night to find every light on in the house. (She wouldn't turn them off behind her cuz that would "leave darkness for the monsters!) I would give anything to wake up to lights on now!

Good morning Ladies! Its been so much fun reading everyones stories! Thank you for sharing!

Sherry- I would love to see that video!!!

Question for the day: What is an anoying habit of your sailor that you would now give anything to have to deal with?

Dylans mom - my mother got to laugh at me when I said something similar (about always worrying about your kid) while we were at GL. She turned 84 this summer and assures me you never get over worrying about them! Oh well, it just makes the good times that much more precious.

Always a mom here's my funny story.. I was at the pediatrician with my daughter when she was a baby. My son was with us and he was around 5. This was the first time seeing this doc because he was new to the group. He was telling me what was wrong with my daughter and my son pipes up "My mom's a alcohol drinker!" Talk about wanting to crawl under the table! I didn't even drink wine let alone at home at this time! Thankfully the doc had a sense of humor and said "Well ya lush!" and laughed it off.

Just checked in before bed. Fresno, don't second guess yourself. Hold on. Praying for you !
Dylan'smom, my daughter went thru a similar thing and the next day she was back to normal. Praying this was a "stress reliever" for him. Praying for comfort for you both.

I think we should continue our daily 4pm prayer time for all of our sailors and for each other. Love you ladies!

Well, I still can't get a hold of my son. I called today, but just got a message saying his voice mail wasn't set up yet. :(  I'm sure he's just getting settled into A school, but I would really like to hear how it's going. Now I'm starting to wonder if I did something to make him mad.
