Awesome answers! Here's another question. Does anyone whose sailor is at P-Cola know if their address needs to have the base name on it? Ericka gave me her address, but just checking before I send stuff...
Ok...Question of the day....
What are the 5 things that make you most
happy right now?
1) Being able to have more communication with my Sailor.
2)That I'm feeling so humbled from this Navy Mom journey.
3)spending time with my dog, cuddling.
4)Planning for passing out my Sailors pictures.
5) How awesome PIR was & the family time spent making memories!
Thank You MLDD
1) People saying how handsome my son looks in his uniform.
2) That his gf is so awesome and supportive.
3) That I have some really amazing family members, living and deceased.
4) I'm not in a lot of physical pain today.
5) My sailor and my 9 year old will be using facetime by the end of the week.
Great idea MLDD.
Ok...Question of the day....
What are the 5 things that make you most happy right now?
1. Being able to call/text my daughter.
2. Telling people about graduation and hearing how proud they are of our sailors!
3. Planning care packages.
4. Getting sleep (felt like I didn't sleep at all while in Chicago land)
5. Fall is finally in the air here in Phoenix (which means, it's still in the high 80's, but to us that's fall!)
Good Morning ladies!!! If you have a moment check out this video!
http://www.starspangledbannerchallenge.com/
I am a huge fan of the Star Spangled Banner in it's original state, but I love that this band is attempting to make it "cool". So, check it out and let me know what you think! I love the video portion of it!
Hi ladies! I hope everyone had a wonderful time at PIR! It was so wonderful to meet those of you who were at Sarge's. He was awesome also. We had to cut out early as my mother in law called with a slight emergency at home.
Still trying to get caught up with everything! It seems like it took forver to get here and it was over before I could blink. I am truly blessed though that he is only 4 hours from home and he can have visitors every weekend and when he gets to phase 3 in about 4 to 5 weeks he can come home every weekend! As long as he doesn't have watch that weekend. My husband just looked at me and said "We are going to be up there every weekend aren't we?"! :-) He knows me so well!
I will still be on here MLDD! You ladies are the ones who got me through those rough 2 months! I thank each and everyone of you!
Sherry, I know what you are going through with the facebook and ex family. I blocked mine from my ex also! Best thing I ever did!
Thanks MLDD I found it in in one of the discussions! The link is usnavytees.com
