OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Which airport are you at?

It's Saturday morning & we get to take our SR back to our hotel! He doesn't fly out until 3:30, so as long as he's back by 12:30, we get to have him. So ask the airport USO volunteer, Dave. He's wearing a burnt orange polo & a US Veteran lanyard. My heart jumped when he told us our Sailor could leave with us:) HOOYAH!!!

Hi, Ladies. It was a pleasure to meet all of you at Sarge's. What a wonderful day we had today at PIR. Something I will never forget.

Chris evans mom, samuel and mommasquid: I have your t-shirts. Do you still want them? If not let me know.

Also, are any of your sailors going to San antonio in the morning saturday? If  so, let me know. Don't know to much info on flight except for time and airport. Help!!

What an emotional roller coaster of a day. So excited to see Luke & then having to take him back. Can't quit crying & I still get a few hours tomorrow at the airport. Hope my heart survives this...

Dianne, it's been a wonderful day. Only a few hours left so starting to feel the blues. Keeping it on the inside. Working from my phone so will change the name as soon as I get on the laptop, probably tomorrow, as wine is called for after we drop her off!

Congrats to all of the new sailors!

Momof2sailors:  YAH!  So glad that she is almost there!

MamaLama:  When you finish with PIR weekend, you can change the title of the group to "Alumni of....." and add your cute name for the group at the end!

Please share your PIR stories on here, everyone!

Mi Manchi-when was his PIR supposed to be? Did he fail his PFA? There is a group for those asmoed or in the fit program...I don't know how to add a link, but if you go to my page you will see my groups and you can click on it there. Just a thought. I've gotten many answers there.
