OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Good Morning! After a sleepless night I am now at my gate at Denver International Airport sipping a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. First time flying on a Boeing 777 - should be a rush. Hoping to talk my husband and in-laws into coming to the Meet & Greet. Being from WI, they just want to watch the Packers game. I told them they can go sit in the bar - as close as we are to the WI border you know it will be on the TV. If I don't see "you guys" tonight (outvoted 3-1) I will find you at PIR - should be easy to identify the Momsters. Thanks for everyone contributing to an awesome funny conversation online!

Hang in there, FTLW.  Take care of yourself first....we understand.  You are a godsend to all on here, you know that!

Comment by diannep on September 13, 2012 at 8:15am

Safe travel today!  Remember the MeetandGreets tonight...Sarge's is the best.

Be EARLY to PIR.  If driving, in the line early...by about 6 a.m....if on a shuttle (you usually sign up when checking into your hotel)...take the earliest one that you can.  Better to wait for a while in the PIR hall than in lines outside.
